I thought I'd read this one already, but I haven't - it's just a lot of Avon/Anna stories are alike... This is actually quite a good example of the genre, although it really annoys me (totally out of proportion. I think I am still residually angry over 'Pick up the Pieces') that Avon's brother is called Shevron. That's a name Avon picked as an alias because it sounds like Avon! Not because it's the name of someone he knows - anyway. It's not bad. The ending is a bit confused, though. I think this is the one where Avon is raped by his mother (unusual!), but I can't be sure.[1]
