The Brushstrokes and Broomsticks Ficathon was a Harry Potter ficathon for fanfiction and fanart inspired by art history. It was hosted on the arth_hp Livejournal community.
The goal of [the Ficathon] is to write or draw a piece of Harry Potter fanfiction/fanart in response to a fine art piece. This can come in a variety of manners. Subject matter from the painting, theme, character, allusion to the paintings and/or artist: whatever meshes the two into one!
