... is a Spock and Christine tale, it has the usual pon farr episode where Christine is more or less a hapless victim of the First Officer's mating season. In this one, however, Christine becomes pregnant, and then decides that Spock just isn't worth it. Spock has to convince her he is.

'Bridge Between Souls' is somewhat more serious, if slightly unpredictable story in which Christine helps Spock through pon farr.
