I do so admire a writer who can write with a style all her own, and the style of this piece is eloquent, and lush, and wonderful. This story features the musings and memories of Methos, and as the remembrances unfold, you will realize something sorrowful is being uncovered gradually within the lovely prose.[1]
This is a heartbreakingly beautiful almost-first time for Duncan and Methos. I love the interaction between the two, most of all, the conversations they have entirely of glances and gestures. Beautifully done.[2]
