Bombos was a term used in some early Newsies and Swing Kids fan spaces. It was introduced by Angela DeLanci, who hoped it would become common slang, and was the focus of The Bombos Webring. It could be used as either an adjective or a noun. It's pronounced "bom-ohs."
Bombos, by my definition is nice, pleasant, bright, fine, good, cool, spiffy, neat, glorious, splendid, wonderful, beautiful, peachy keen, amazing, terrific, and great. It's new, different, innovative, orginal, fascinating, odd, and unique. It's powerful, vibrant, radical, intense, determind, vivid, and striking.
