Bob & Rose was a British six-part mini-series created by Russell T. Davies about a gay man named Robert 'Bob' Gossage who falls in love with a woman named Rose Cooper. Though this isn't one of Davies's better known works, it is perhaps best known for its exploration of sexuality and its complexities.
Bob Gossage was played by British actor and comedian Alan Davies, these days better known for his role on QI. Rose Cooper was played by Lesley Sharp, a respected if not famous British actress.
