blueandgoldunlimited was a mailing list in DC Comics fandom focused on the pairing of Blue Beetle/Booster Gold

Group description:

2005 has been a rough year for Blue Beetle and Booster Gold fans. Beetle was killed in the touching "Countdown to Infinite Crisis" at the same time he was appearing in "JLA Classified: I Can't Believe It's Not The Justice Leage." We saw two versions of Ted Kord's swansong. One was a funny dose of nostalgia. The other, a dead on portrayal of a character so often ignored.

Now images have been released of the new Blue Beetle, who writer Keith Giffen promises to be linked to the Beetle heritage. (Look in our Files section for images.)

At the same time, Booster Gold has taken a darker turn as he has been overwhelmed with grief at his friend's death in books like "OMAC Project" and "Infinite Crisis." It's unclear what will happen to Booster in the future, but there certainly is a sense of impending doom lingering about him.

It indeed seems that the "BWA-HA-HA" era has passed, but that doesn't matter because Blue and Gold Unlimited isn't just about their so-called "BWA-HA-HA" days. Nope, here at B-n-G Unlimited, we also look beyond the comedy into the secret lives of Ted (Blue Beetle) Kord and Michael Jon (Booster Gold) Carter, their origins, their days as stars of their own solo comic books and what the future holds for these new characters.

Here at B-n-G Unlimited, we also prize Blue Beetle's long and storied past as a star of Charlton Comics so-called "New Look," as well as the Golden-Age Blue Beetle, Dan Garret.

The list went defunct with the closure of Yahoo! Groups, it had 50 members at that point.
