Blooming Rose is a charity zine dedicated to the character Xaldin from the Kingdom Hearts games.
About
Interest checks for a Xaldin zine began on March 3, 2020[1]. The survey closed on April 3, 2020, with 40 responses[2].
Artist and moderator applications for the project opened from May 3 to May 31, 2020[3]. Amidst the last hour of the application window on May 31, 2020, the project announced that they would dedicate the zine's funds to Black Lives Matter due to current events at the time[4].
On June 3, 2020, the project gave an update on its status and announced that the physical format of the zine would be cancelled and that the zine would continue as an exclusively digital project so as to not lose funds in production expenses and shipments and have mroe to donate to their charity of choice[5].
Preorders opened from November 20, 2020, with the following preorders[6]:

The deadline for preorders was originally November 30, 2020, but was extended from December 1, 2020, to January 8, 2021[7]. The orders were mailed out on January 11, 2021[8].
At the end of the project on January 13, 2021, the mods announced that $165 USD was donated to the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation[9].
