I love the way envoy writes. It's spare and it's gritty and so very to the point. The abjectness that Tom feels in this story is so human, but so vast. Kathryn's need to comfort is compelling. The giving of comfort is so spontaneous, but carries such ramifications it truly moves me.[1]
