Reactions and Reviews
Usually it's other stories of this author that are recommended more often so I decided to concentrate on this one. The summary says "Jim and Blair go for a walk in the woods and down memory lane" and that's pretty much what the story is about.I like it because it never fails to capture me with it's dream-like quality. It's like having a slow walk in the woods on a warm summer day. Time doesn't matter for a few hours, you relax and simply enjoy your surroundings. That's how this story makes me feel - good.
It shows a little of the dry humor Jim shows in the series, something I miss way to often in fanfiction and I simply can't resist a story that has a line like this: "Sandburg, how the hell do you think sentinels survived if they were allergic to every damn thing in the forest?" [1]
