Behind the Sofa was a Doctor Who fan club based in Bristol. In 1991, it was proposed that they should split from the Bristol University Science Fiction and Fantasy Society, and Behind the Sofa was formed in early 1992.
Their website includes a page digitizing fan-written transcripts of missing episodes, which were distributed to and by members on tape.
