Reactions and Reviews
Summary: In this story, we meet Emily Bryant, or at least that’s her name for now. She’s about to enter the Witness Protection Program and needs to be protected by the Cascade PD for one day until the Feds can send their own people to take her. Instead of a safe house, Jim and Blair bring her to the loft, since they’re part of her protection detail. She observes them, trying to figure out whether they are a couple of not. Before she can confirm one way or another, she falls asleep in Blair’s bed (so that means they’re not, right?) But then she wakes up, and gets an eyeful of proof. Reccer’s Notes: I’m not sure I’d buy that Jim and Blair couldn’t keep their hands off each other for one day, but the point of the story is not necessarily to make sense. When we read explicit stories, we “see” the guys doing all kinds of things to each other. But, because it’s through an outsider’s POV, this feels different; sort of like you’re a voyeur, as Emily is, instead of an invited guest. Enjoy.[1]
