Whilst this is an AU story it illustrates the metaphor as Ray bringing light into Fraser's life well. The dialogue might not work with me all the time but the characterisation is fine for an AU. It's sappy and very much romantic but it's a nice story whose obvious metaphor of light works well. [1]
