Assimilation was a November 18–19, 1995 Star Trek convention held in the UK at the Friendly Hotel, Milton Keynes.
The two main celebrity guests were Jon Pertwee and Elisabeth Sladen.
Other guests included:
- John Carrigan - a Star Trek stunt coordinator,
- George Marshall - a renowned impersonator,
- Tim Gaskill - Official UK Trek fanclub editor,
- John Freeman - Editor of Star Trek Monthly and Dr Who Magazine,
- others involved in the sci-fi industry.
1996
Assimilation: The Double Main Event was held October 11-14, 1996 in the UK at the Britannia Hotel, Daventry.
Andrew Robinson (Garak: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) and Jason Carter (Marcus Cole: Babylon 5) were the guests of honor. There were, perhaps, other celebrity guests as well.
This con was billed as a "charity event."
