Archivescence is an Evanescence fansite organizing graphics and providing links to both current and offline fansites.
I created this site in December 2023 as a way to archive and celebrate Evanescence fan culture on the web. This started out as a graphics section on my personal site that quickly grew over the years into a 1k+ collection, so I decided that it needed its own space. A lot of these were made long before I was into Evanescence, and some we're probably made before I was even born, so by the time I got here I found the once-bustling fan sites, webrings, and forums slowly deteriorating and becoming lost to time. Links are breaking, sites are becoming dormant or even taken down completely, hosting services are shutting down one by one. With the help of other evfans, friends and the Wayback Machine, I'm finding and posting everything I can get my hands on so I can do my part in keeping this wonderful community's history alive.
