Arabian Nights is generally considered the first fan-created expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon 2, and was released on 1st October 2007 by Artifex. AN features content themed after SWANA, South Asian, and Central Asian regions.
The pack is designed after a typical expansion pack for the game, and includes not only new animals, but also buildings, scenery, and plants.

The pack was uploaded to NexusMods by user AudreyKitsune in August 2021 as a single file.

The pack includes statue models from the game Civilization IV, as well as a mock Cave of Wonders from Aladdin.
