An SGA vid, set to the song "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship, that premiered at VVC in 2007,[1] Another Sunday is sometimes called an example of a con vid (as opposed to a living room vid); in fact, the curators of Vividcon's 2007 premieres show curators later noted that they didn't expect the vid to go over as well as it did, having only seen it on a small screen before. In fact, Another Sunday was a smash hit in premieres, its sparkly special effects and clip choice—the SGA cast are made to look uniformly hilarious—provoking contagious laughter and applause in the assembled audience.
Another Sunday is also representative of the anime music video aesthetic as applied to live action vidding; like AbsoluteDestiny, Jescaflowne comes to live action by way of amvs, and brings a fast-cutting, highly spectacular, colorful and almost cartoonish style to live action footage.
