Always and Everyone is a British television series that takes place in the Accident and Emergency Department of a large city hospital. It stars Martin Shaw as Dr Robert Kingsford. He appeared in a majority of the episodes as the head of the A&E Department.
Canon
The series is nicknamed "A&E" which is also short for "accident & emergency". The title of the series comes from these same initials of A&E.

"A team of Doctors committed to working on the frontline, the Accident and Emergency Department of busy city hospital. They are young, dedicated and idealistic. Driven by the desire to give the best service possible. Their reward is not money or prestige but in making a difference to people's lives. Saint Xavier's (Note: hospital name in this series is actually St. Victor's) a modern 'super' hospital, taking health-care into the future. Forward thinking, equipped with state of the art technology, a vital part of the community, a hospital for the 21st century. But demands are increasing and the patients keep on coming. The work is challenging, unpredictable and at times dangerous. The Doctors never know what is going to come in the door."
