Post Tithonus. This episode has spawned some classic post ep fanfic. The uberVince set fans in the right direction thats for sure. The Scully characterisation in this is especially true, which is rare since its a mulder POV. And the sequel is AMAZING. I loved mulder!toture and this is a perfect example of why :) [1]
