Their relationship is a popular tagged gen ship in Archive of Our Own's Total Drama category as of 2024. It is also Alejandro's most common gen relationship for fanworks on Archive of Our Own and third, (after Noah & Owen and Cody & Noah,) for Noah.
The ship has always been somewhat common, but surged in popularity around 2021 after Alejandro/Noah became a very popular ship in the fandom as a whole around the same time. On AO3, almost all Alejandro & Noah works are pre-slash.
