Canon background
Aldwin is a Tok'ra host. The symbiote's name is unknown. It is given as "Gerim" in the Stargate RPG book, but it is never mentioned in the series. The symbiote is only heard speaking once - usually it is the host, Aldwin, who is in control. Aldwin has had several dealings with SGC, and they have generally been successful. The Tok'ra cause is most important to him, but as long as that is not jeopardized, he will help in any way possible. He is friendly towards SGC.
Fandom
Despite appearing in three episodes, and thus being one of the few recurring Tok'ra, Aldwin has not been the focus of much interest in fandom. There are a few fanfics where he is in, but few that have him as the focus.
Fanfic
Aldwin is usually a minor character in fanfic, but there are a few where he has a larger role. Fic with Aldwin is generally either gen or slash, though het with him exists, mostly as a minor pairing in a story of another pairing.
