Fandom History
KucatsHouse wrote in 2020:[1]
I actually started writing fanfiction 20 years ago in the Lord of the Rings fandom. Honestly, I don’t even remember how it started but it was probably something like “Gee, I wonder what this elf that was only mentioned 2 times in the whole series was doing during all of this war mess.”I stopped writing for a long time - I blame it on cosplay taking over my life for a bit - but then returned to it because of the Shadowhunters Chronicles. This time it was “Malec has been through hell - literally - and back, they deserve a nice quiet moment to themselves, why has no one written this moment? I guess I will do it myself.”
And then we progressed to the MDZS/Untamed fandom and my need for just one damn forehead kiss and “Why can’t SongXiao have a happy ending? They deserve a happy ending. F*** this I am going to give them a happy ending.”
Basically, I like the side characters more and my brain has an overactive imagination on what those side characters might/should be doing. 😅
