Summary

Author's Editorial
I have always had the same opinion of the fairytale of Beauty and the Beast as Catherine expresses to Vincent. Then after I fell in love with him myself I realized that I had to write this story.
I first of all must thank Emily for her beautiful illustrations which really captured the images I had in my mind as I wrote the story. I had a vague idea of what Adelle and Jeanette looked like but it wasn't until she sent me a sketch of them that I realized she had captured them perfectly. I also have to thank Emily for her never ending patience with me in getting this novella out. I have developed a chronic illness and had to put this project off for some time. It was comforting to know that someone else believed in the project as much as I did.
I hope that you have enjoyed the tale. I envision Catherine and Vincent as being soulmates that travel through time, reality, and imagination.
