A Fine Line is a slash 78-page novel by Clotilda Willard. It is sometimes referred to as "The Generic "/" Man from UNCLE Fanzine, or Zine" due to the cover format.

It is a no-frills zine.

Interior "illos" are a number of full-page black and white photographic stills from the show.

The cover says: "INGREDIENTS: Napoleon Solo, Ilya Kuryakin, Alexander Waverly, Sir John Raleigh, Mark Slate (less than 2%), Justin Sepheran, Sandor and an assortment of good guys, bad guys and incidental characters. CONTAINS: No preservatives of any kind or Benjamin Kowalski, only 100% natural paper, Kodak toner, binding materials and imagination. INSTRUCTIONS: Turn cover, read editor's page, find page one, begin reading until you reach the end."

On the back: "NOTICE: The Surgeon General has determined that "/" fiction (alternative relationship material) is not detrimental to your health or fandom when read with an equal portion of straight fiction. Enjoy."

Summaries

From an unknown source: "Sepheran [1] kidnaps our heroes. Napoleon becomes a heroin addict, and Illya gets raped."

From Media Monitor #34: "From a torturous imprisonment by Justin Sepheran to a private battle warred between themselves-only the span of fifteen years could heal the wounds-or could it?"
