Naegi x Yamada, most known as Naefumi and/or Yamanae, is a rarepair within Dangan Ronpa fandom. The ship is between Makoto Naegi and Hifumi Yamada. While Naegi is a prominent character within the series, Yamada only appeared in Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and its adaptations. It has been shipped since Trigger Happy Havoc was released in 2010.

Naegi's ship with Yamada is by far his least popular ship among the ones with his classmates. Yamada is overall disliked in DR fandom, though he has his fans, and his fans may ship him with Naegi. Naegi x Yamada can be found in compilation fanworks which pair Naegi with many characters, thus pairs him with Yamada. The ship is slightly more common in Japanese-speaking DR fandom than English-speaking DR fandom.

In Naegi's non-canonical Free Time Events, the two become good friends.
