Warhammer Fantasy is the setting of the Warhammer tabletop game, first published in 1983. The latest edition of the tabletop game is Warhammer: The Old World. The fandom also covers many novels and video games set in the same universe, as well as the TTRPG Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. Warhammer 40k was initially based on a spinoff of this setting.
The setting contains many different fantasy races, including humans, skaven, dwarfs, and elves. Additionally, the chaos gods are a significant part of the setting.
