Stargate Search (Description: A community devoted to finding all things lost in the Stargate universe.) is a Gateverse-wide fic-and-more finding LiveJournal community started in 2005.[1]
It allows searches for specific existing stories, multiple stories in a genre, meta, art, vids, and all stories by an author, as described in the comm's rules.[2] Posters are encouraged to use the comm's tagging system for their posts. Comm users are also asked to respect the wishes of retired fen (or Gateverse authors who have taken fic offline) about sharing or not sharing their works.
Comm moderator perfica maintains a Gateverse-spanning list of fen/fanworks creators who have retired from Stargate fandom or taken works offline, with notes on their wishes regarding continued sharing of their fanworks and/or remaining locations for their fanworks.[3]
