Shay Cormac/Haytham Kenway, aka Shaytham, is a ship in Assassin's Creed fandom. The pairing started from the release of Assassin's Creed: Rogue, the game that introduced Shay and had him working with Haytham for some missions.
Steven Piovesan, Shay's voice actor, expressed in an Assassin's Den interview that this ship was inevitable due to the smushname being so easy: "Me and Haytham, Shay and Haytham. It's Shaytham and that's it, that's all. There's nothing we could have done. Shaytham was gonna be a thing."[1]
