Reactions and Reviews
Rogue did a wonderful job writing this story, it’s just too bad I couldn’t believe that our Jim would be like that. Especially to our dear, sweet Blair. Everyone I’ve talked to loved this zine, but I was just too upset to enjoy it. A vicious Jim isn’t my cup of tea. The artwork is by Amy and it’s gorgeous. She is so talented. Now in Rogue’s defense, I have to tell you I read this story twice just to be sure I still felt like that. I couldn’t read just anyone’s twice in four days. [g] She’s a wonderful writer that makes you believe this story, totally. Maybe that’s my problem. I’m hoping that someone gives a good review that liked it. [2]
I like this story, it was so different from your usual Jim - Blair pairing. My only problem with it was I was hoping for a sequel. Once you get into the alternate universe - the writing is very good - it's an exciting story and the pictures are great. [3]
Have you ever wanted to read a story with a bad Jim Ellison? I mean, really bad and evil? This is what you get in this story. You grow to like him somewhat as the story goes on, but believe me this is no ordinary Jim Ellison. Blair is pretty fiesty, so I like that and you watch as he grows very fond of Jim, mean or not. It's something very different and I think you should read it knowing that Jim isn't a nice guy. [4]
