SWAT Kats was a US animated series that ran from 1993 to 1995, created by Canadian brothers Christian and Yvon Tremblay, produced by Hanna-Barbara and distributed by Turner Broadcasting. The show was based in the fictional metropolis of Megakat City, which is populated entirely by anthropomorphic felines who are just like humans, known as "kats". It followed the adventures of Chance Furlong and Jake Clawson, two mechanics who secretly defended the city as The Swat Kats, T-Bone and Razor who fought crime, evil, and a rogues gallery of villains with a high-tech jet and an assortment of other gadgets. It originally aired on TBS before being canceled. The series would it later enjoy a second life in reruns on TBS's sister networks Cartoon Network and Boomerang, where it developed a cult following, especially among furries.

It still has an active internet fanbase and there is currently a small letter-writing campaign in progress, SK Revival, that hopes to renew the series (or at least get a DVD release). A DVD has been issued by Warner Archive and it is available on a few streaming services. The creators also started a Kickstarter in hopes of funding a revival.
