Whatever you think about how the Samantha arc was explained and wrapped up, it seemed to us like there was a lot of potential for some really great story-telling for Mulder and Scully’s relationship. And thankfully, today’s rec delivers in a big way.In this fic, Mulder and Scully are most definitely not platonically sleeping together, and our favorite FBI partners are helping one another cope, in more ways than one, with the answers they were finally given about Samantha. In this amazingly deep fic, we’re given not only a glimpse into the MSR relationship, but the relationship between the Scully siblings, the Mulder children, Mulder’s previous marriage, and his relationship with Maggie Scully. It’s a quick little read that we, once again, wish we could have seen on our screens. But we suppose we can be satisfied by adding this one to our fave list, instead.[4]
