Controversy
Tokyo Mew Mew
Due to similar elements, Kira Kira has been noted of being similar Tokyo Mew Mew. This is as both series feature "girls who work in a cafe and transform into animal-themed magical girls who fight evil and use food names."[1]. However, these elements are enacted differently and the plot of both shows are very different. Further, the characters are not copies of each other and both series are very unique.
