Gayle Stever is a Star Trek: DS9 acafan who founded the Far Beyond the Stars fan club and was part of the leadership of The Doctor's Exchange fan club. She also is an acafan who co-authored "The Oxford Handbook of Parasocial Experiences" and wrote "Fan studies in psychology: A road less traveled".
