Games Done Quick is a speedrunning charity event occurring twice a year as Awesome Games Done Quick in the winter and Summer Games Done Quick in the summer. The former gathers donations for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the latter for Doctors Without Borders. Donations are further incentivised via prize raffles and run incentives, such as bidding on which name a game character should be given or whether additional objectives are fulfilled during a run. Each round runs for a week with only short breaks between the runs for setup.
