Fíli and Kíli are the nephews of Thorin Oakenshield in the book of The Hobbit, and are also major supporting characters in The Hobbit (film series). In the films, they have less prosthetic faces than the other Dwarves (except Thorin), and together are considered the "hot dwarves". Fili is played by Dean O'Gorman and Kili is played by Aidan Turner, both considered very attractive by many fans.
Shipping Fili/Kili is common in Hobbit fandom, second only to Bilbo Baggins/Thorin Oakenshield[1], despite it being brother incest. They are the youngest dwarves, but clearly depicted as being over the age of consent, though some fic does mess with that.

- Canon divergence where Everybody Lives
- AUs - brothers or strangers, can be modern or any historical era from gladiators to social networking friends.

Fandom Activity
Tumblr is the center of the fandom, most frequently using the smushname FiKi (for best compatibility with Tumblr tagging). There is a thriving culture of art, fic, edits, mood boards, podfic and general squee. Fics are frequently linked from AO3 but discussion happens on Tumblr.
