Bo/Lauren is a femslash canon pairing of Doctor Lauren Lewis and Bo from the Lost Girl fandom.

Canon

Fandom

The canon romantic relationship between Bo and Lauren helped to ensure an active femslash presence in the fandom. The term "Doccubus" (doctor + succubus) was coined by a fan in 2010. It caught on with fans of the couple and became the term used by fandom[1].

While Bo/Dyson and Bo/Lauren are both canon ships, many Lauren fans felt[2] (from season one through four) that her character was being neglected in favor of the Bo/Dyson relationship (less screen time, less dialogue, less development, suspicion that Bo/Dyson was the endgame, etc.). Bo and Lauren became an official couple in the third season, then separated before the finale episode. They reconciled at the end of the fourth season, but it was not until the fifth, and final season, that they were intimate again -- and Bo asked Lauren for them to start anew.
