Armand is a secondary character from The Vampire Chronicles book series and features in its adaptions, the 1994 Interview with the Vampire film and the Interview with the Vampire (TV series).

The season 2 episode of Interview with the Vampire, with the flashback to Armand/Lestat is largely agreed to be a false representation by Armand, as it is represented as the opposite in the book canon. Book!Armand is seen to be frustrated at the lack of attraction Lestat shows for him, and is constantly vying for his attention and affection, going so far as to instigate the destruction of Louis and Claudia in order to win him, and when that doesn't work, drops Lestat off the top of Magnus' tower. These scenes do not appear in the show, but the show's themes of unreliable narrators leave fans hoping for a revisit to these scenes, hopefully in Season 3.
