Alberte is a fan writer who writes Sentinel fan fiction. In 2001, Alberte was nominated for the Burton Award for 'Best New Writer.' In 2001, Alberte won the 2001 the Burton Award for 'Favorite BPP Episode' with her story Proper Procedure, that was co-written with Hephaistos. (BPP stands for Black Panther Productions, a virtual season.)
