Aventurine is a character from Honkai: Star Rail who is one of the Ten Stonehearts of the Interastral Peace Corproration(IPC).
Canon
Through the 2.1 story update, players learn about Aventurine's story and get to play as his character, the first time this was done in Honkai: Star Rail.
Aventurine's real name is Kakavasha, which means child blessed by Gaiathra, as it rained on the day of his birth which is seen as a blessing. On Signonia IV, Aventurine's harsh and unforgiving home planet, his tribe the Avgin worship Gaiathra Triclops, also known as Fenge Biyos. Aventurine was blessed with luck since birth, but his luck did not protect his family; his father was taken by quicksand, his mother by illness, and his sister killed in the "Second Katica-Avgin Extinction Event" of Avgin by the Katicans(another tribe on Sigonia IV) of which Aventurine was likely the sole survivor.
Sold into slavery for 60 Tamba(a red copper coin), he makes big bets, eventually kills his master, and manages to get Jade(a Stoneheart) from the IPC to take him on; which is when he becomes Aventurine
He gains powers from the Cornerstone (a gem bestowed on him by the IPC) Aventurine of Stratagems, through which he can also trigger a "boss form", which is larger and more inhuman than his regular appearance.
