/r/Parahumans, is an active subreddit for fans of Wildbow's writing. It was named for the series name of the webserial Worm, Wildbow's first and most popular work. As Wildbow finished writing Worm and moved on to other projects, r/Parahumans remained a hub of fandom discussion those works. As of February 2023, it has 33k subscribers.[1]
It is affiliated with the Parahumans Discord server.
Regular Activities
r/Parahumans hosts a regular threads discussion of the latest chapter posted by Wildbow, a new thread for every chapter. There may also be threads for updates to popular fanworks such as live-reads, analyses, or the Worm Audiobook.
Weekly Worm Character Discussion threads were held from 2017-2019
Community Norms
The community does not allow shitposts, random reference posts, and banned content.[2] Several other subreddits (definitely r/WormMemes and possibly r/WormFanfic) split off from the r/Parahumans community to post and discuss content that was regularly removed by the r/Parahumans mods.
