I cannot tell you how much I love this Sabriel Fic. If you have not read it yet, you need to get on it. I’m serious. Perfect writing, beyond amazing character dialogue, the whole plot of this story is just awe-some. Read it. Read it. Read it.[1]

Trickster Gabriel is just so much fun. So so much fun. and Trickster Gabriel on dates with Sam, the BEST.[2]

The gradualness of Sam and Gabriel's relationship. I adore first time fic and it isn't easy to find with my OTP. It's especially hard because so much of it is set post-Mystery Spot and there is a lot of drama and hurt to try and fix. It's hard to work through that and get the characters to want to be together, so why not make it an established relationship where you don't have to worry about that? But this takes place in Season 2. When the boys are still brothers and the only thing they've got to worry about is the YED. So Sam's still Sam, he isn't the Sam bent on revenge, bent on saving his brother. The Trickster is the one who pranked the boys silly but let them go. And they work really well together; they play off each other and the entire thing feels natural when I read it. It's just gorgeous.[3]

I love Canon!AUs - they fix stuff! They make me happy! - but they need to be done right, and oh god, this fic is all the shades of right and more. Every character is portrayed IC, excellent pacing, great prose.[4]

I love how their relationship progresses, how you can see and feel that the Trickster is so otherworldly but still light and fun. They have some of the best dialogue I've ever read. Not to mention that it fixed everything in canon that sucked (including: Heart, 'cause man I can't stand that episode).

Dean's reaction, telling Bobby to not argue with Sam over it was great. We have seen what happens when he's adamant about what he feels and what happens when he feels like it isn't welcome. And I'd have hated for Sam to leave Bobby's and never come back over it. So yesh. Even Dean was cool. <3<3<3

I actually enjoyed this a surprising amount. I'm not usually a fan of the type of AU that takes one specific canon event and changes it, thus changing everything else that comes after, but...this was really well done. :D And the banter between Sam and Gabriel throughout was so much fun![5]

This is one of the things I wanted to read, but hadn't already found. A trickster story! Obvioulsy I like Archangel Gabriel, but Trickster Gabriel is just so hot and funny and... I don't know. This was awesome. I was smiling like a loon the whole time.[6]

A crack-ish fic filled with Gabriel, cotton candy, and the beach. If you are looking for a simple but funny Sabriel fiction, this more-or-less fits the bill.[7]

There were clever bits (fixing holes in SPN canon for the win) and no one was painfully ignorant (logically outraged, yes, but that's, um, ya know... logical). Even better, the romance started as an interest, ramped up to a friendship, and proceeded to build from there. Long, enjoyable Sam/Gabriel! \o/ [8]
