Gerard Tweets is a 2022 zine by Merlin Sabal that compiles some of the author's favourite Gerard Way tweets from 2014-2015. It is available for purchase online at the author's Etsy shop[1] and from the Broken Pencil shop.[2] It was also sold by Broken Pencil at 2023's digital Canzine.[3]
Author's Note
The author's note, appearing on the final page of the zine, reads:
I have a lot of feelings about how to archive the internet.
So much of my early net experiences have gone away;
LJ communities deleted, fansites shut down, etc. The internet is becoming more censored and sanitized every day as well-- but my point is, you might lose this bundle of paper, but maybe you wont. It at least wont be deleted without notice. Probably you'll spill coffee on it.
Gerard hasn't used Twitter since 2016, and that's probably better for their mental health, but it was a fun period where we got to hear their strange little thoughts all the time. Until the eventual demise of Twitter, you can read through the whole thing yourself.
