Balthazar/Castiel, also known as Calthazar, is the slash pairing of the angels Castiel and Balthazar in Supernatural fandom.
Canon
Castiel and Balthazar are friends and "brother" angels pre-canon. Balthazar is introduced in season 6, where he is shown as a hedonistic angel, however, he does side with Cas in his war against the archangel Raphael. In the later half of the season Sam and Dean are concerned with Cas' actions, which are growing increasingly power hungry and paranoid, and requests Balthazar's help, Balthazar agrees to spy on Cas for them. Unfortunately, Cas discovers Balthazar's duplicity, and kills him.

- Balthazar Lives: Castiel doesn't kill Balthazar in season 6, or Balthazar is somehow resurrected. There is also some exploration of Cas' guilt and angst over killing Balthazar
