The Wavemother's Robe[1] is a piece of in-game clothing from Baldur's Gate III. The robe, or dress as it is sometimes called, is a common theme in fanworks. Typically the character has on the aforementioned garment without underwear.
The garment was an instant success with fans, although not easily procured at the time it was originally discovered, due to its late game and quest determinant availability. To circumvent this, some fans have modded the dress (some mods aren't publicly available).
It features two long slits that run down both hips (also called a double split dress) and a plunge V-neck, together with chains, prompting some fans to dub it the "horny dress"[2]. In one instance it was dubbed "slutty blue outfit" and compared to Link's frostbite armour[3]. The garment cuts a fantastic figure in its original baby blue colour, showcasing the character's assets and plenty of skin. In canon, it is especially popular with male characters, like Gale and Astarion. It's also common to change the garment's colour to black, to portray evil characters or a more seductive persona.
The name of the garment is sometimes miswritten as Weavemother's Robe, which might affect tag search. It's popular and/or seen in fanworks such as fanart, cosplay and mods.
Fans from other fandoms have also taken a liking to the item, extracting it and porting it to games like Final Fantasy XIV or drawing characters from other games wearing it.
Other, not quite as popular, BG3 clothing tropes are: maid outfits, Elegant Robe[4][5] and Angelic Scion Outfit[6].
