I have always loved the books that typically give rise to fandom communities, as fantasy and SF, but I got into fandom only in 2001, when the The Lord of the Rings movies were to be released. It were Debbie Ridpath Ohi's series of cartoons Waiting for Frodo that got me hooked.

I was active in various communities, where besides Lord of the Rings I also discussed Harry Potter and various other popular stories. In 2007 however I discovered Naruto and since then this is the only fandom where I am active. I have even began to write fanfiction, something I'd never have thought I'd ever do, mostly for the pairing SasuxNaru.

I have tried several other mangas besides Naruto, but I did not get into them. I still read every Discworld novel as soon as it appears in paperback, and see every new Harry Potter movie, but else, I read mostly non-fiction.

Whenever possible, I register as susanna, but if this is taken, I use senior-witch (or senior_witch) in honour to Granny Weatherwax from the Discworld series. I am mainly active at LiveJournal, but for my fanfiction I use my account at fanfiction.net.
