TheTreacleTart is a Harry Potter fan writer. Her fics include a variety of pairings, both het and slash, though she is primarily a Ron/Hermione shipper and hosts a number of popular stories at the R/Hr archive Checkmated.
She has not posted fanfiction since July 2007 but has not officially retired from fandom. In November 2008 she posted that she was "strongly considering revisiting one of [her] half finished fics just because [she wants] to get it done," [1] but as of yet has not done so.
