Of Knights and Champions is an Angel/Xander fansite and slash archive. The site was founded in 2008 by Livejournal user and fanfic writer loki-fox.
The archive was an affiliate of the Spander Files archive and the LiveJournal community _xangel.[1]

Welcome to Of Knights and Champions, a refuge for fans and shippers of the relationship between Xander and Angel of BtVS and Angel: the Series. This site was created out of the webmaster's hope of giving a stable home to the reclusive pairing that is Angel and Xander. Inside you'll find resources for writing the pairing as well as exclusive fanart and fanfiction archives dedicated to all the Xangel goodness out there.[2]
Of Knights and Champions has been a project that's been brewing around in my mind for quit some time. Being an avid fan of the Xangel ship I grew frustrated with the lack of a nice place to find good quality material on the guys. Most of the old websites devoted to the boys has sadly slipped off the map, along with many of the fandom's great writers. After going through various stages of fandom withdrawal I decided to create this little nest for the benefit of all the Xangel fans out there who are tired of seeing their ship overshadowed within the fandom. Yes Spike, I'm looking at you.[3]
