Nick/Maria is the non-canonical het pairing of Nick Fury and Maria Hill, primarily in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Canon
The characters have appeared together in the Marvel Comics. Both characters appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe together, such as the movies The Avengers (2012) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and both have appeared in episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series.
Maria was Nick's second-in-command at S.H.I.E.L.D., though in the MCU she did not succeed him in his position as Director like she did in the comics.
Fandom
Nick/Maria is a very rare pairing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As of October 2014, The pairing had just barely over 50 works at AO3[1]. The pairing has so far only been focused in the MCU, with little to no works about their comicsverse relationship.
