This is a rare commodity in that it’s an SG1 crossover where Daniel, Blair, Jim and Jack don’t know and have never known each other. In fact, it takes place after Daniel has died and Jonas Quinn is trying to deal with his guilt. It’s also rare in that, although it’s after the diss fiasco, SGC wants Blair only and has no interest in Sentinels. One more rarity: It has a Blair/other pairing that I like and find believable. T.W. Lewis I notice has been recced here a lot and with good reason. The plotlines do move along pretty quickly, but as always there are interesting twists and turns. Blair’s POV, his thinking and ethics really get the spotlight here. You have to have more than a nodding acquaintance with SG1, because various characters and their interactions in the show are referenced here. A good read! [1]
