Koizumi x Sato, most known as Mahisato and/or Satomahi, is a rarepair within Dangan Ronpa fandom. The ship is between Mahiru Koizumi and Sato. While Kozumi is a prominent character in the series, Sato only had a speaking role in Dangan Ronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School and was only mentioned in Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. It has been shipped since Goodbye Despair was released in 2012.
